Dr. Lilibeth Acosta-Michlik is a senior scientist in the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. She received her degrees from the University of the Philippines (BSc), University of Cambridge in England (MPhil), and University of Bonn in Germany (PhD). She has worked in renowned research institutions in Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom and Japan. She has received scholarship and fellowship awards from various international institutions (i.e. IRRI, British Council, Cambridge Overseas Trust, German Academic Exchange Service, and Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) for her studies and research.
